Ricardo Soares, Al Ahly’s football first team head coach, spoke following the team’s 4-0 win over Future FC on Tuesday.

In his post-match press conference, Soares commented on the result and thanked the players for their dedication during the past period.

“We knew it was an important match. Starting from now, each game is a final. The next match is always the most important match for us.

I’m very happy with the players dedication. We have a plan for each game. It was very important to keep a clean-sheet. I like to praise the efforts of our players and their hard work during the past period.

I would like also to thank the fans for their unbelievable support. Their support is needed in the upcoming period in order for us to continue winning.

The players are intelligent and are also very helpful. Each game is different and requires its own players. All of our players are important to me.”
